Bike Nashbar Hacked

This site was contacted last week by a customer who had experienced the same problem as reported by other customers of Bike Nashbar (complaints here). Now the Citizen-Times is reporting that discount retailer Bike Nashbar (www.nashbar.com) is calling customers to warn them that their credit card information may have been stolen:
A Citizen-Times editor received a call from a Nashbar customer service agent explaining that the company’s computer servers had been hacked and credit card information was “compromised.”
Letters with more details will be mailed to affected customers.
I expect we’ll get more details on this in due course. The company has not posted any alert or notice on its web site as of the time of this posting.
