A grand jury has indicted a woman for identity theft, accusing her of stealing from 28 victims in the Denver metro area.
Andrea Harris-Frazier, 54, was indicted Tuesday on 43 counts of theft over $15,000, forgery and attempted theft, according to the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office.
A warrant has been issued for her arrest.
The indictment alleges that Harris-Frazier went into banks between November 2006 and May 2009, and used fake identification cards and driver’s licenses to make deposits and withdraw thousands of dollars from the victims’ accounts. Many of the victims had their purses or wallets stolen, often in other states.
