Dr. Dissent,
Today is a “New World’, ever changing, evolving and so are ways IDThieves
are moving forward to aquire more information of others to do Damage.
Thieves are making more than one IDentity with Drivers Lic, credit Cards
and so much more.
My new site called “Expose'” due to post soon and still collecting information
will feature companie, Doctors offices that are not Compliant to State and
Federal Laws.
Currently, I’m consulting with my Law Firm on what any potential Liabilities
there may be associated with truthful information.
Once cleared, “Expose” will be open and receiving non-compliant information.
May I use some of your content with expressed acknowledgement to you to
avoid any copyright infringement?
We’ve talked in the past, you may or may not remember?
Thank you I’ll look forward to your reply.
With high trgards,

You’ll need to contact me via email (breaches[at]databreaches.net] to discuss using content. I generally don’t give global permissions, but if what you want to do falls within fair use, you don’t even need to ask. If you anticipate a lot of content being used, yeah, we’d need to talk.
However, there is some debate about what transparency reports really reveal. Some critics argue that mere quantities of requests may mislead consumers, since most entities have little control over the number of requests they receive, the breadth of the requests they receive, or even the number of requests they ultimately comply with.
As a public librarian in adult services, I highly value your work. Thank you for keeping us aware of these data breaches. I followed you on twitter. Did not see a newsletter signup. I will be checking back in frequently. Thank you! Y Muchas Gracias!

Luis, thank you so much for your kind words. I am a tremendous fan of libraries and librarians: you folks are the vanguard of our efforts to protect privacy and I’ll get rid of my credit cards before I’ll ever get rid of my library card. Something I wrote in ’06: http://www.pogowasright.org/blogs/dissent/?p=92
I have no newsletter. I can barely keep up with blogging/updating this site.
