Update to #InvestBank hack?

Posted on March 28, 2016 by Dissent

I had reported on a hack and extortion demand involving InvestBank back in November and December of 2015. The bank hadn’t paid the extortion demand by “Hacker Buba” and massive amounts of data had been dumped.

This week, there was an update to the incident. I’m not sure what to make of it, but a paste dated March 26th begins:

Hacker Buba killed few days ago.

Before being killed, he requested to publish all information from #Investbank if with him something will happen.
Link for all available information from #Investbank:
GOOGLE DRIVE: [redacted by DataBreaches.net, but here’s a partial listing of files:
investbank.ae
Inside – all info from bank, about the customers private info and their payments, cards, etc.
The poster,  a self-described Turkish hacker known as @ulkuocaklar1923 on Twitter,  also writes:
Within a few days will publish new information about a very large Arab Bank. More than 50% of the inhabitants of this country – the clients of this Bank.
