And yet more victims in the U.S. medical sector

Posted on October 2, 2023 by Dissent

Earlier today, DataBreaches provided a small update on U.S. medical entities recently attacked or leaked by AlphV (BlackCat). Other groups also continue to attack health care entities. Here are a few:

Monti added Cascade Family Dental to their leak site on October 1 with a note:

About 130 Gb was downloaded.
At 12 October whole data will be leaked.

Data contains SSNs, DOBs, addresses and more personal info about 2.5k clients

Cascade has not replied to an email inquiry sent yesterday.

Knight added Garn Mason Orthodontics in Arizona to their leak site and declared them “the most collaborative and dangerous dentistry in the USA.”

“Due to the lack of security in the Garn Mason Orthodontics network, we have had all critical data stolen,” they added:

– Clients’ personal data
– Client insurance information
– Financial and banking information
– Images of clients’ teeth and other body parts
– Client medical histories
– Doctor’s prescriptions

And more.

They gave the practice 72 hours to contact them.

There is nothing on Garn Mason’s website to indicate anything amiss.

On September 27, Lost Trust Team added GI Medical Services in New York to a new leak site that appears to have cloned Metaencryptor’s site, suggesting that they might be a rebrand– although the listings on the two sites differ. There was no proof of claim for GI Medical Services. The listing simply claims “data size: 102” and gives them 14 days.

There is nothing on the victim’s site to indicate anything amiss.
