Austin patient info could have leaked online as early as 2013, local clinic says

A data breach at a local clinic caused the information of about 2,0000 (sic) patients to leak online, the Austin doctor’s office announced Monday.

Names, dates of birth, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, medical account numbers, preferred language, race and ethnicity were disclosed, Victory Medical Center said in a news release Monday. The release did not say how many patients were affected by the breach.
