Authorities just learn of 2013 breach of Fitchburg city records that released Social Security numbers of 1,800 state residents

Elizabeth Dobbins reports:

“There was an unauthorized access of information that was held by the city of Fitchburg,” Fitchburg City Solicitor Vincent Pusateri said.

Pusateri said the residents affected were notified by letter after the breach was discovered on April 14 of this year.
