  • Four San Fernando Valley men were charged with ID theft and other charges in an alleged electronic crime scheme in which more than two dozen victims — including two banks — lost more than $400,000 via phony ATM withdrawals. More.
  • As a follow-up to a breach reported in November, Luis Corona was sentenced to 5 years in prison for stealing the identity of a customer at the Saturn of Schaumburg dealership where he worked. More.
  • Raul A. Gonzales-Rodriguez was sentenced to 42 months in prison Thursday for fraud and identity theft. He and Ronny Vazquez were indicted Dec. 2 following their arrest; they had acquired more than 120 credit card numbers that were stolen from an unnamed Miami business. More.
