Ca: Personal information lost by Elections Alberta

Elections Alberta is apologizing after an enumerator working in Calgary lost a binder containing information on 153 residential addresses.

Names, addresses, phone numbers, and even some birth dates of residents living in polling subdivision 45 were contained in the binder.

According to a release, Elections Alberta was notified of the binder being lost by an enumerator in the Calgary-Greenway electoral division on Sept. 27 and reported it to the Calgary Police Service and the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner.
