Ca: Prince Albert man concerned about privacy breach

Dallas Inglehart from Prince Albert received a concerning letter recently.

Wednesday evening Inglehart returned home and opened a letter from the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region that advised him of a privacy breach stating that some of his personal health information had in fact been compromised.

The letter stated that on March 13, 2012, his chart containing personal health information was stolen from an addictions counselor’s private vehicle. It said that the chart was kept in a locked metal container and that police were notified immediately at the time of the break in, and that they are investigating.
