Calif. agency probes snooping of octuplet mom’s medical records

Rebecca Vesely reports:

The California Department of Public Health has launched an investigation into Kaiser Permanente Bellflower (Calif.) Medical Center after nearly two dozen employees peeked at medical records of Nadya Suleman, who gave birth to octuplets at the facility in January.

“This is an issue that is quickly evolving for us,” said Al Lundeen, spokeman for the department that oversees hospital licensing in the state. He would not comment further on the scope of the investigation.
