Chinese engineer to plead guilty in theft of GE Healthcare trade secrets

A Chinese engineer charged with stealing trade secrets and confidential information from a GE Healthcare subsidiary in Waukesha has reached a plea agreement with federal prosecutors.

Jun Xie, 41, will plead guilty to one count of stealing trade secrets, according to federal court records. He faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a fine of $250,000.
