Class cancelled at Kellogg Community College following ransomware attack

Kellogg Community College announced on May 1 that the technology issues that started days before were caused by a ransomware attack. Due to the ongoing attack, all KCC campuses are closed until further notice.

DataBreaches has not seen any report as to who might be responsible for this attach or where any personal information has been compromised. There will undoubtedly be updates to this situation over time.

Statement on KCC’s website announces classes are cancelled and they have initiated a forced password reset for everyone while they work to recover from ransomware attack.
