Hack attempt on Garda computers forced shutdown of systems

Irish Mirror reports:

A hacking attempt was made on Garda computer systems this week, it has emerged.

The attack, which happened on Thursday, forced gardai to shut down a number of internal systems in an attempt to prevent sensitive data from being reached.
