Happy New Year 2024

Posted on January 1, 2024 by Dissent

On January 1, 2009,  DataBreaches posted its first “Happy New Year” post. If you had asked me to predict if I’d still be posting breaches on this site 15 years later, I would have laughed. And yet, here I am and here we still are, with more than 34,500 posts on this site.

Every year, people who are a lot smarter than me have made their predictions for what to expect in the coming year. This year, they have again. You can read their predictions and mine in Cybersecurity predictions for 2024. What the experts expect. I hope most of the predictions are wrong.

Gloom and doom aside for a moment, I wish you a healthy and happy new year and that at least one of your personal dreams for 2024 comes true.

No, You Can’t Buy a Post or an Interview

This site does not accept sponsored posts or link-back arrangements. Inquiries about either are ignored.

And despite what some trolls may try to claim: DataBreaches has never accepted even one dime to interview or report on anyone. Nor will DataBreaches ever pay anyone for data or to interview them.
