The Standard reports:

A police inspector has appeared in Eastern Court charged with accessing a computer with dishonest intent, to get the personal details of officers.

Sze Hang, 29, is also charged with possession of child pornography.

He is accused of posting the personal data of fellow officers online, allegedly to help people identify them during the Occupy protests.

No plea was taken and Sze was released on HK$1,000 bail pending the next hearing on March 18.

Sze allegedly accessed a computer at North Point police station to download dozens of officers’ photos and their personal details in November which he then placed on a social discussion forum.
