MD Anderson clerk accused of ID theft

A 26-year-old former clerk at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center is being sought on charges that she stole identities of hospital patients, prosecutors said Monday.

Angelina Cloud-Equam is accused of fraudulent use and possession of identifying information, a third-degree felony, said Donna Hawkins, a spokeswoman for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. If convicted, Cloud-Equam faces a maximum punishment of 10 years in prison.
