MI: Man turns documents with personal information over to police

Mary Conway reports that a Michigan man who found a file with with personal documents in a dumpster at the corner of Maybee Road and Gregory in Oakland County turned the documents over to the police.

“It was vital information, like social security numbers, license numbers, dates of birth even bank account numbers” Wysocki said.

The papers, about a dozen in all, appear to be credit applications and other documents from two closed businesses, Designer’s Choice and Corky’s.

They were apparently thrown out by workers cleaning out the storefront so new tenants could move in.
