MO: Personal Documents Discovered in Dumpster (updated)

Emily Baucum reports that bankers boxes full of unredacted personal and financial records from former clients of Nation Wide Credit Counseling were found in a public dumpster in Battlefield, Missouri. As if that is not troubling enough, Baucum reports that “The Battlefield Police Department is investigating the situation, but the boxes are still in the trash.”

Update Dec. 3: Another local credit counseling service kindly called in shredders to dispose of the 2,000 pounds of documents that had been left in the dumpster.
