More than 100 Dutch dental practices closed for days due to cyber attack

On August 5, RTL Nieuws reported:

More than a hundred dental practices will be forced to keep their doors closed in the coming days. These are practices of Colosseum Dental Benelux, a large company with more than 130 branches in Belgium and the Netherlands. The company has been hit by a cyber attack and is going to report it to the police.

The company has also informed the Dutch Data Protection Authority (AP). Colosseum Dental Benelux confirms this after questions from RTL Nieuws

As of today, Colosseum Dental Benelux has not publicly confirmed it was a ransomware attack (although that still seems to be the prevailing guess), and it is still impacted, with this statement currently on their homepage:
