New Zealand business owners dealing with data loss after earthquake

Companies and other agencies in Christchurch, New Zealand have been forced to deal with data loss as a result of the massive earthquake that struck the region last week. The earthquake, which was measured at higher than a 7 on the Richter scale caused damage to countless buildings, but the resulting data loss may also put some of them out of business permanently.

Oftentimes, smaller organizations fail to implement disaster recovery solutions or data backup due to expense. Turning to an email archiving solution is one way for companies to ensure their data is safe in the event of a major natural disaster or other issue.
