OK: Harper County Community Hospital targeted with ransomware

Kaylee Douglas reports that Harper County Community Hospital is now disclosing that it experienced a ransomware attack on March 24.

Authorities say the protected health information that may have been compromised could include any of the following: first and last name, date of birth, home address, patient account number, diagnosis, social security number and health insurance information.

Read more on Oklahoma News 4. This incident is not yet on HHS’s public breach tool, but based on the hospital’s notice on their web site, we should expect to see it.
