Optus facing class action over alleged customer privacy breaches

Optus has been hit with a class action complaint after it mistakenly published the names, addresses and phone numbers of tens of thousands of customers.

The details of about 50,000 of the telco’s customers were published in the White Pages, run by Sensis, last year.
