Potential Tulsa website hacker victims notified (update: nothing to see here, move along)

Glenn Schroeder reports:

The City of Tulsa’s website is still down after a hacker infiltration.

And now people who submitted job applications and police reports on-line are getting letters from the city, warning their personal information may be in the hands of a hacker.

In the letter the city says, “The personal information that may have been accessed includes your name, residential address, social security number and/or driver’s license number.”

KRJH has more on the breach and a copy of the notification letter.

Update of October 1:  There was no hack. See the update on what actually happened here.
