TX: Parents Of 60 Local Students Advised Of Possible Security Breach

Eli Ross provides a small update to a breach reported last month when student records of some students at Ellison High School were found blowing across a field:

The Killeen Independent School District said Tuesday that it sent home 58 letters to parents of students warning of a security breach involving personal information including Social Security numbers, after school documents containing the information were found dumped last month in a field.


A KISD spokeswoman declined to comment on what if any punishment the teacher either faced or will face, citing personnel issues.
