UK: Patients’ personal details from Cheltenham General Hospital ward left in street

An investigation has been launched after a confidential document with the personal details of patients at Cheltenham General Hospital was dropped in the street.

The three-page report, which includes the names, medical history, social and family circumstances, and treatment plan of 34 people, was found in Cleevemount Road.

It even includes details such as whether the individuals live alone and states where one patient’s money is kept.
