UK: Up to 100 students’ info sent to the wrong parents

A mailroom muddle has resulted in a major data protection breach at a Teesside school.

The personal details of up to 100 students at Hillsview Academy, Teesville , have ended up in the wrong hands.

It involved ‘data checking forms’ – containing everything from contact details to medical history – being delivered to the incorrect parents.
