VA: Arlington Public Schools Informs Parents of Limited Data Breach
An “error” in the data inputted to the college readiness system used by Arlington Public Schools may have exposed the name, address, grade point average and college entrance exam scores of nearly two dozen students to an unrelated parent.
Superintendent Patrick Murphy was sending a message, below, to all secondary (grades 6-12) families Friday morning informing them of the breach, an APS spokesman told ARLnow.
“For each of these students, one APS parent, who is not the student’s parent, may have been able to view” the information, Murphy wrote.
