Walgreens notifies customers of Epsilon database breach

Walgreens press release:

Walgreens today announced Epsilon, a third-party vendor it uses to email promotional messages, reported an unauthorized access to its computer systems. Law enforcement authorities have been notified and are investigating the matter.

Email addresses were the only information obtained in this incident. No other personally identifiable information is stored with Epsilon.

Walgreens encourages consumers to be mindful of common email scams involving requests for sensitive information. The company does not send emails asking for credit card information, social security number or other personally identifiable information.

Customers can contact Walgreens at 1-855-814-0010 with any questions regarding this matter.
