Washington Hospital hires outside investigator after two electrical fires down internet, phones, medical records database

Two small electrical fires broke out over three days last week at Washington Hospital, temporarily leaving employees without access to critical internal systems, including an electronic medical records database, officials said.
It’s unclear what caused the fires so the hospital has hired an outside company to investigate, according to Kel Kanady, community relations manager for Washington Hospital.
