WI: Former jail worker is accused of misconduct

Audits/checking logs works.  I’m surprised that the employee was charged with a felony, though.

A former Jackson County Jail worker has been charged with felony misconduct after being accused of improperly running criminal background checks on herself and her half-brother.

Jennifer L. Stanley, 34, of Onalaska also faces a misdemeanor computer crime charge in Jackson County Circuit Court.

Officials learned of her actions when discrepancies were found in criminal history files during an audit, according to the complaint.
